Hey thanks for your concern. I have been suffering with OCD since the last 7 years. I recognised it only 4 years ago. My thoughts are generally losing my family, losing my job, losing my self respect etc. I do a lot of compulsions in a structured manner to feel better. I overthink and picture every scenario how my life can go wrong and attach a thought to it to make myself feel better. But it comes back again. I used to be happy but these days I have forgotten what happiness is. Whenever I feel happy my mind reminds me that I am not secure so I shouldn't be happy.

My anxiety grows thinking of all the scenarios through which my thought may become true. If I find a way out of it by compulsion well and good, if not my anxiety keep growing. I guess my OCD is Pure O. What are your thoughts and what do you do to make yourself feel better?

I can relate. I too have this annoying friend but unfortunately I have not been able to distract myself. Who are the people you follow on YouTube? Do let me know so that I can follow them too
