I’ve dealt with it too. Just don’t give your thoughts power, everytime a thought comes just be like “oh well”

I understand this completely. Any time I hear a groan or anything my mind sexualizes it. If I hear it from family it is so gross to me. But best we can do is try and just let the thoughts float away like balloons.

I know it sucks, been there too. Just laugh internally and brush it off. It sucks and it's hard - but it's the only way to minimize and let go of it.

I’m going through the exact same thing, though I’m not handling it well. Instead of trying to defeat it and ignore it, I’m wearing headphones. I feel uncomfortable when I get a groinal response so I turn that uncomfortableness into anger to cope. It’s really stupid. And when you live in a house with 6 other people, it’s tough.

yeah i only live with 2 other people and it feels like hell. sometimes i’d literally have to cover my ears so i wouldn’t have to listen or risk getting a response. what has helped me is to just let go and remember that i don’t want the response to happen, it just does. try to be as secure in that as possible i guess.
