@AdamRoyale I didnt say that, and yes I am homophobic and I have my reasons And I am still looking into it, because people are different and cases are different, and reasons are different and opinions are different I am not 100% homophobic like, totally irrational freaked out and hating it u know? I heard there has been suicide cases because of that, so it must have some serious issues going on And I just didnt discover it all

@Bisho So I find it a really interesting topic, can be viewed from many many different views, and have many different opinions on it

@Bisho To the people who’s reality you’re denying, it’s not “interesting”. People don’t choose their sexual orientation.

@pureolife I didnt quite understand what you said

@Bisho Ok look not judging u just saying telling someone who suffers from ocd who is gay can hurt them if u tell that person that it’s a choice all I’m saying is that you from all people should understand that if it was a Choice their will be no such as suffering from so ocd

@AdamRoyale I didnt say its a choice, I said that i dont really know, since I did not experience it nor viewed it in others So I am just saying that I did not mean to say it is a choice or not, I am not the one who decide if this was a choice or not, its just that I do not know about it and did not really get into it yet, and do not really know if it was a choice or not, actually, I really want to explore this idea and situation since it is forign to me, like I want to know why Sorry for that but I really am nerd when it comes to “knowing why things happen” in almost everything and want to know the origin of it because I have many questions about it, sorry if I annoyed you

@Bisho What I am saying is that to someone who is living the reality of being gay, facing discrimination, harassment, and death — to varying degrees, dependent on the culture they’re living in and their level of affluence — because of who they are, the idea that they are “choosing” this reality is dehumanizing and problematic on many levels. When you describe these realities as a fun idea for you to ponder from the outside, or as simply “interesting,” you deny the reality of so many who have suffered and even died because of who they were, and they did not have any choice in that matter.

@pureolife I think you are right, I did not mean it is interesting just as fun, but the urge in me to actually think of it and try to understand it, its causes, like why is this happening then how is this related to (for example) my religion? How should I think of it? Based on what? And forming an opinion from my point is really hard, and challenging Thats what I meant by that, not just fun u know?

@Bisho I understand. And I highly suggest you continue to develop these thoughts and opinions on your own. There are so many amazing resources out there, from scientific stories to human interest pieces to histories of LGBTQ rights. But the place to learn about these things and form your ideas is not here where people are suffering from debilitating sexual orientation themes due to OCD. You’re only serving as an unnecessary trigger. And the last thing someone suffering from this theme wants to do is teach others why their lives are valid and not a choice.

@Bisho Thank you for that apology Bisho. It sounds like you’re on a path to more understanding, you simply took your questions to the wrong place. Again, I highly recommend you continue this journey. Keep asking questions and keep seeking answers. But do so in an appropriate place. There are so many great resources out there waiting for you.
