That is good way to handle Just don't try to reassure yourself trying to figure it out if the thought is true or not Accept the thoughts,It's way better

@Diego I have hocd, which means I fear about being different sexual orientation than I actually am. It’s just been really rough this week than others, but I know I will get through it. Hope all is well for you!!

@Diego So you need to watch the thought and let it go Sometimes accept these weird ideas can be helpful Accepting my thoughts about POCD helped me so much even though that makes you a little anxious in the beginning

@Diego Yes this is so true! My biggest compulsion was checking my feelings going back to see if I felt the right “feeling”. so accepting the uncertainty in that has been soo difficult! But it’s better then ruminating. Ruminating makes me feel so shit

Well. I'm trying not to do mental compulsions which is hard. This particular theme gets under my skin. How are you?

I'm doing some exposures so I can stop ruminating and It's been quite helpful But yeah Do your best to resist the compulsions Eventually you're going to feel better

I get it. I really attacked this theme with imaginal scripts and ERP. What surprised me was the thoughts are still here with me. Do you have false alarms going off in your brain? I sense that something is scary or terribly wrong?

Sometimes erp can take time to have results When I feel I'm not getting better I try to spend more time doing exposures But what do you mean something scary is wrong? In your mind?

I've been working diligently on ERP for almost a year. A wave of anxiety comes over me that makes me feel I need to do compulsions.
