Do not take your life please ,,, first of all try to think rational 1 . If you were a bad person with that false memory you would not be caring or feeling disturbed by your thoughts 2. Thank you... It's just... I'm so tired. (mentally, I mean) my mind keeps developing the "what if" and I can't stop it. I feel like a monster.

Plus anxiety plays such tricks on your mind ,,, what your actually doing is thinking the worst case scenario and then mentally checking to see that your not that bad person ,,, text book ocd anxiety overreaction ,, it’s the opposite, your clearly a normal person with anxiety because a child molester would never have any guilt or bad thoughts ,,,, relax and try to exercise or accept your obsessive thoughts for what they are ,,,,,, anxiety false scary risk assessment thoughts .... means your the opposite what your anxiety is saying ,,, but the fear or adrenaline released in your fear response with the thoughts just convinced you your thoughts are real ,,, that goes for all anxiety sufferers,,,, it’s a false alarm but At the moment unfortunately you believe it ,,,,,, it will pass

@myocdstory No what’s happening is your anxiety checking to see if you are a monster but clearly not cause you not be bothered by it ... simple rational fact ,, your perfectly fine ,,, accept your anxiety as an over protective device ( which actually it is but it freezes you at the moment until the day comes when you make your mind up this is all bull shit ) take care

@pez Thank you so much! That makes a lot of sense! I suffer from a lot of false memories that last for months if I obsessed over them (if I don't obsess, they will last years). I fear to be a "p" so greatly... A few years, I masturb- to fictional women (yes, I'm gay/bi) and I, at the time, was afraid they were underage (16-17) because they seemed too young to be 18 but now!! I'm like "what if they were 14-15??"

@myocdstory It’s just anxiety , nothing else it’s designed to scare you because your mind is serching for reasons why your in flight or fight mode and since there is no tiger or lion about to jump on you your mind will make one up for you to be scared ,, that’s exactly what anxiety is false fear but it convinces you because it releases chemicals ( adrenal glands adrenaline cortisol ) that makes you hyper alert so then your mind says omg my thoughts must be real but infact they are 100 percent false , your mind is looking for that tiger but it’s not there ,,,, so it will make it up so don’t fall for it ,, go out and enjoy the sunshine and get fit your perfectly fine
