It’s bothering me extremely right now too. I was already super depressed and I felt compulsions to post things because everyone else is and my mind is telling all kinds of bullshit

tbh I’m not even angry, I just wish they would just stop, but this is causing me more anxiety than anything and I don’t want to hear about it anymore, how are you doing

@ocdgirl$ummer im horrible,,, i feel like im not doing my part in this revolution - my city isnt protesting like MN or NYC (im usually in NYC for school) and i just have to go to bumfuck texas farmers market everyday and work and i feel pathetic and useless and small and i don’t know what the fuck to do

@ur3l That’s how I felt when coronavirus first started, like I wasn’t doing enough and I was contributing to it and I don’t even wear a mask but I barely go out, when I know I probably should but I try not to worry about it. My brain is telling me some terrible things revolving around race that I didn’t even really feel until I read about the event.

@sillybilly I understand what you are saying, but I’m sure you have had obsessions that you didn’t want to talk about or triggered you. This isn’t even about that, this is about OCD. These are people that are worried BECAUSE of their OCD. I would try to have a little bit of compassion for them as they might be feeling all sorts of emotions as I’m sure many people are.

@sillybilly I’m sorry, I’m black myself, but I didn’t say that out of irritation or hatred or anything like that. But I don’t need to keep hearing and seeing stuff about something that’s triggering me. This has nothing to do with justice, I’m talking about ocd right now. Please don’t bring that energy in here...

@ocdgirl$ummer scratch that, I ’m not sorry, I feel how I feel and that’s that. If I’m triggered and anxious because of something then I’m not gonna want to see it, I don’t need this energy rn. I’m sure if you were triggered by something you wouldn’t want me to tell you that, so don’t do it to me. This app is to feel safe and right now I rlly don’t do if you could chill that’d be great...have a nice night??✨

@ocdgirl$ummer You can’t help the way you feel and if something is triggering you it makes perfect sense why you wouldn’t be exposed to it anymore. This is exactly how I felt about COVID-19. Is it a real issue? Yes. But could I handle hearing about it all the time. No I couldn’t. And this is a real issue too but it’s affecting OCD the same. I understand if you want to delete the post.
