OCD makes even the simplest things seem wrong or that you should feel bad in some way about it.

This is my biggest struggle. I feel guilt over doing normal things. OCD latches onto whatever it wants.

I remember reading something a while ago about people with OCD can be “holier-than-thou” in the sense that they typically have high expectations for THEMSELVES. We hold ourselves to an incredibly high standard. It’s like I know I did not do anything wrong. Many people do it. I guess I worry that the celebrity would not like me if she knew. I also felt bad because she doesn’t really show her child’s face in pictures online. I can’t remember for sure but I think I wanted to try to see pictures which was one of the reasons why I looked. (So OCD trying to remember what I did and why I did it!!)

Okay so I too deal with celebrity obsessions and obsessed with people and feeling like a stalker. I am on stan twitter too and sometimes I think it does more harm than good for myself so I try to take a break. But I’m currently beating myself up about past mistakes or like little things I’ve done that I just feel bad about and having bad panic attacks about it. I just want to enjoy life. I’ve had issues with celebrity obsessions my whole life

It’s comforting to know people understand how I feel. In some ways, I feel like this type of OCD is the hardest to talk about. I feel like nobody would understand. I’ve had POCD over a young family friend who I’m very close to. As painful and difficult as it was, it made sense after hearing stories of people having POCD over their children. This is just so random. And it’s over something that really shouldn’t be a big part of my life. Like it has nothing to do with me.. It also attacks the things that I used to use to escape when I was sad.
