Negativity is just a label. Thoughts are thoughts and emotions are emotions. It’s good to have awareness of how you’re feeling but not to dwell on them

@Jamarceline That’s good you’re aware of that. That means you can make the effort to change it. Whenever you feel sad, acknowledge that you feel sad and move on, because no feeling lasts forever. Everyone gets happy everyone gets sad. But it is a choice to dwell and let it affect us personally

It sounds like you’re saying you don’t want to bring your friends down with your negative emotions, and while some friends care about your feelings, you feel like they have their own problems and think maybe they don’t really listen when you do try to share your negative emotions. So, you try to ignore your negative emotions, too, cuz there’s nobody to share them with. Did I hear you right?

@Jamarceline I’m still learning the best ways to regulate my emotions, too. I swing from stuffing/faking to going berserk and yelling/throwing. I’ve actually had several friends and family members who have told me, “Call anytime.” My Mind lies to me, tells me they don’t mean that and don’t want to mess with me. I have to remind myself to trust that my friends/family mean what they say, that they know what they’re willing to do more than my own mind knows what they’re willing to do. Do you have friends/family who have told you “Call me anytime”?

@Alyosha Yeah I have one friend saying I can call her anytime but I feel like I dont wanna interrupt her and like she didn't mean it or it will be too overwhelming for her. I think I learned this thinking from family cause my family is completely unreliable. Unreliable in a meaning that they often change their mind , they like to gossip and they say they will do something but they forget about it or they will postpone it forever( it happens so often in my family that I completely dont anything positive in dealing with my family) I experience same emotions. Like recently I was crying cause some old man security worker didn't want to let me in to the Bank cause I didn't have my mask on .I mean he was a bit rude but he wasnt rude enough to cry about it ... but I did read that noone cries without reason or noone is angry with no reason and all we have do is accepting emotions and find the source of emotion and sort it out
