E (exposure): anything which triggers your thought that you might enjoy gay sex more. You said yourself the thought arises all the time. Each time is an opportunity. R (response): trying to answer the question, checking your feelings, checking how your butt feels, analysing what your feelings and your butt could mean, arguing against the thought, worrying that you'll act on it, ruminating about your future, comparing your OCD with POCD, scanning for arguments either for or against it, testing the idea, etc. P (prevention): not doing R whenever E happens, as consistently as possible, and instead letting anxiety happen without delving into this topic and spending your precious thinking time on it and reinforcing that these ideas are important and imminently threatening. You can't force intrusive thoughts or scary feelings to not happen. By not labelling them as threats/meaningful and not doing R, they will happen much less often. Nothing can take away the potential of you one day having gay sex. It is indeed a possibility within the realm of possible futures. But if you think that the fact POCD acts are illegal is a blessing for people who have that theme, you're sorely mistaken- it only adds to the threat level of the fear via consequences, it provides no reassurance or guarantees whatsoever of not acting out fears or thoughts. Also, being gay is a different thing to having gay sex, having gay sex does not turn people gay and nobody can choose to become gay via having gay sex.

i don't know if this is helpful, but as someone who's sexually fluid, i don't like a certain "type" of sex more, it depends on the person you're having sex w, yk?

@No_brainier99 for me yeah. it's more about how much i like the person i'm sleeping with. it's all about the chemistry. if you like the person you're having sex w, you're probably going to like the sex as well. in the end that's all that matters, i think.
