Christmastime with my current man. Things were so good then. It’s one of the last memories I have before this OCD sunk its claws into me. I love Christmas and things were just so amazing at this point in my life.

i don’t celebrate christmas but something about all the lights outside of peoples houses and the decorations in malls and everywhere and how festive it is makes me really giddy and happy inside i love it. what’s your favorite thing to do on christmas?

This is such a hard question! I think mine was when I went to visit family in another country...I wasn’t necessarily happier than I’ve ever been, but I was so overwhelmed with love. It was sort of a bittersweet mixture of happiness and sadness because I was still sad dealing with my ocd but I felt so comforted in their presence, it reminded me why I want to be alive.?

Marrying my partner of 15 years on our favorite getaway beach in Maine. A puplic elopement that was also a destination wedding and planned around a mini festival of the band Guster. Their concert was our “rehearsal dinner”. ? Not the moment we first met our shy, scared, little rescue pup, but the moment, shortly after meeting him, when he knew we were his new furever family that his fosters had told him about. (Our wedding was already scheduled but wound up being about 3 weeks from adopting our pup. If only the hotel had allowed dogs...)

Being on the beach with my family. There's something about the ocean that makes me feel at home. Also little things like the sun shining or someome smiling at me. Great question to ask!

It’s hard to choose! I like this question because it made me remember so many happy times:) I think I my happiest memory is just sitting outside with my family drinking coffee and eating croissants. My food obsessions were under control, and I could enjoy the food and their company. ❤️

One of them was visiting my family in Ecuador on trips. The last trip was rough because my ocd onset happened around that time, but even then and every other time I loved being with my family I don’t get to see very often

@epiphany It was so bad my anxiety was at a 10 basically but we manage. Ecuador is so amazing honestly I recommend it! We normally stay on Guayaquil but I recommend visiting Quito or Baños, those cities are so cool! The last couple of times I went I stayed a couple of weeks but before when I was a kid I would stay for a month :)
