It’s a thought, I had them, this problem we don’t relise. EVERYONE has them and I mean everyone, your mum you nan your uncle, Donald fucking trump has them. What the difference? We worry and plus the fact we thinks unnatural because we feel like we are the only ones. There embarrassing right so no one talks about them and that’s why we feel different because we do. Everyone has them they are just too embarrassing to talk about. 1000% certain if you asked anyone they would say ewww no and that’s because They don’t want to seem weird or odd like us feel

I’m glad too hear your motivated it’s annoting because it affects the people close to us and we have to look ok when really out mind is all over the place I just wish it could stop

True, circumstances play a lot. I feel very ashamed, like I can't look at my child, or anyone, in the face. I feel so fake, when Ive always strived to be honest and real.

I want to be a good person, but I feel ocd is trying to make us believe that we are horrible. I plan on being fully honest with my therapist of the contents of my thoughts. The best one can do is face the music and live by our values, even if we are afraid of possible consequences. Are you in therapy?

Not at the minute I’ve spoken to some on the phone but I have a lot going on at the minute and we’ll ocd isn’t making it any easier

Its something you need to definitely prioritize. At the end of the day, if your health is not well, it will progressively make it harder for you to be well in every other area of life. You need to take care of yourself

You don't have to explain if you're uncomfortable, but you do need to get help so you can get better and improve your life. Remember that ocd can get worse if not treated.

It’s hard tho basically something happened at home with me my stepdad and my mum and police are involved so it’s hard and my girlfriend is going through stuff so it’s like I’m trying to be there for her and my mum even though my head is all over the place

Im sorry about that. I truly hope things get better. Things will get better, just you wait and see. But please seek help so you can be in a better headspace to care for others as well. Can't pour out of an empty cup

Yh only difference is that it plays on our minds and gives us anxiety but it’s an anxiety disorder the worst for me is thoughts about family and sometimes affects me when I’m with my girlfriend

Yes, my ocd targets my son the most, and I hate it. Im getting better at ignoring the thoughts, and I am nervous abour erp starting monday, but I wanna go through with treatment and hoping my thoughts minimize/go away so I can care for my son.
