I've just started my seratine 50mg , second day ,feeling a bit weird? Is it too early for them To kick in ,is it my mind just knowing I'm taking them or are they working ? I'm confused ?

I started cipralex a few weeks ago and my second day was when it hit. I had dizziness, nausea, headaches, hot flashes and dissociation I asked a friend who has been on SSRIs before and she said those things are normal. Is seratine a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor? Anything that manipulates hormones in your body can affect processes by your nervous system. For me I was most scared of the hot flash. I thought it was a fever and I have covid, but when i took my temperature it was normal. But my legs were radiating heat like a furnace. I lowered my dose and will titrate up slowly and that's working nicely for me. However i did call my doctor to ask him about bumping down and titrating up at my own speed.

I’m on day 6 and was super nauseous the first day. Today I’m already feeling better and less anxious. I feel like my thoughts are just floating off my brain like they can’t make me anxious anymore. I am also on 50 mg. I heard it takes 2 weeks so it should get even better!
