@Fear Strikes Out Lol nope. Just my own experience. I'm setting limits for myself by staying off the app for the weekends

@NOCD Advocate - Katie Good for you! I set similar boundaries with current events.

Not on here but I was that way in school or work when it came to reading and re-reading. Thankfully, I have pretty much overcome that practice.

How did you overcome this?

@Mike30 I literally delved into the world of uncertainty and embraced the anxiety. I committed to only reading one time for things of lesser importance and and just a second time for more important stuff (including, for instance, taxes). I can honestly say that there have not been any negative repercussions of doing so in the last 4 years.

@Fear Strikes Out Thank you so much! I'm trying to overcome this and it's a fine line to walk because my work is rather technical and I have to re-read sometimes to understand. However, sometimes I get carried away and get stuck in a loop of re-reading.

@Mike30 I feel you! The problem, as you know, is that the re-reading often gets us caught up in the process of reading rather than the content of what we are reading.

Yes and the need to reply to everything. But it's okay. There's other people in the world capable of helping. Not only that, but they have perspectives and experiences I don't that can reach people I can't ☺.

I appreciate that! So good and hard to remember. Also... How are you? How's things? I want an update about the Email but I don't want to be nosy??? but I am already nosy haha

@Daisy102 I'm good ☺. I'm currently visiting family in my hometown. As for the email, we're still friends. Due to distance and differing ideologies it probably wouldn't have worked out anyway. But I'm glad I gave it a shot. How are you ☺?

@Ben84 I am so so proud of you. Like that's a huge step. Even if not that person, talking is the first step to any relationship. And now you've done it!! Give yourself a sticker. I'm well☺ spending time with family, texting my crush too, haha. Been going to the stream... Is my life haha. How is it being home?

@Daisy102 Can it be a scented sticker ?? Being home is good. I like it, but at the same time it takes me out of my routine. I like my routine ☺.

@Ben84 On the scented sticker... Maybe it can be, maybe not. Haha jk. Give yourself all the stickers. And that's good. Routines are a love hate relationship for me. Good luck pal. You can probably still make some sort of schedule for the day, a really rough one, but of course its better to have uncertainty probably.... Good luck. How long you staying?
