@Sunflower 1234 Yes number 1 is very important, it took me the longest to get to that step but once I did, I finally created that headspace I needed to thrive.

@ryanp0333 How long were you in treatment? I have been doing erp for 3 weeks now on my own but I LL starting seeing a therapist next Tuesday.

@Sunflower 1234 i’ve been in and out of treatment the past 3 years. and the thing is treatment never ends, you will need to do ERPs and monitor your compulsions till the day you die, i know that sounds scary but once you get good at it and get comfortable its nice.

Thank you so much. I think I'm making progress with my ocd. But I'm struggling and it's very painful. I needed this

Hey the crazy thing is in order to make progress you need to struggle so take that as a good thing. The mind is like a muscle, when you go to the gym you only get stronger when your muscles are under tension, the brain works in a similar fashion. keep your head up !!
