Sorry to hear that. It can be real hard to find people who understand mental illness. And it is even harder when our own families don't understand us.

Exactly, they just say things like it dosent matter or we can’t do anything about it or sometimes they just change the subject.

Do you have at least one person who you can confide in? I find it's sometimes easier talking to a close friend instead of family. Because your mental health does matter 100%!

There is a lot I’m dealing with mentally, but there is something that is affecting me and making me so anxious. Seeing how everyone is back to normal living without masks and nobody is social distancing while the pandemic is not over yet. Sometimes i get anxiety attack and people around me just say you’re overreacting and I know maybe I am? I get so worried about the health of people I love.

I'm sorry I take forever to reply. My sleep schedule is constantly changing. But I also get anxious over people not social distancing and not wearing masks. I live in California and covid got very bad in the Central Valley because people were still throwing parties and not staying home. I think it's completely normal to feel anxious about this pandemic and how some people do not take it serious. But all we can really do ourselves is stay at home or social distancing & wearing masks. The rest is kind of out of our control. And I know anxiety makes it very hard to be okay with what we can't control. But we will only make ourselves sick if we constantly worry about it. Just do your best 💗

I think in some cases like with a pandemic, it is better to overreact than under react. So don't let others tell you how you should be feeling. That's just my opinion. Stay strong. 💙

It’s okay take your time to reply🤍 my sleeping pattern is changing too, yes exactly I think the main reason why I’m anxious is because my sister who dosent live with us keep going out and partying without masks and then come to our home every other day even though me and my parents have chronic diseases. She dosen’t care about any of us I’m the only one who cares about our parents. Also everyone, including her is saying the virus will never go away we will live with it forever and thats making me so sad.

@Magg_7 That is very inconsiderate of your sister. Especially if you and your parents are at risk. I'm not sure how long the virus will be around. But i'm sure a vaccine will eventually come out or something to help. But until then people should be cautious. I have family who try to do the same thing but honestly I just have to put my foot down. Because I have a newborn baby. I don't even let anyone hold him let alone meet him. I hope you and your parents stay safe!
