Mentions of suic*de! I'm safe don't worry! Sorry for the big post, but is anyone else noticing a new obsession coming on and you KNOW it's ocd? My new obsession is the classic "what if I don't recover, what if that lasts forever" ext. What really set it off though (whether this is a separate obsession or not) was something really exciting I found out yesterday! My favorite video game of all time is getting a sequal that's coming out next year that fans have been waiting to hear about for a year and a half. Nintendo came out yesterday and said "well, we're still busy making the game perfect so you'll hafta wait for further updates, BUT in the meantime have this whole PREQUAL!" And gave us a trailer! It comes out in November and I'm SO excited!!! It's Zelda's first ever canon trilogy! But despite being hyped, my heart hasn't stopped racing. There's this thought in my mind that comes to the front everytime I get excited about buying the game. It says "What if you're not better by then. What if it gets too much and you're dead by then. What if you're dead and you don't get to enjoy ANYTHING in the future, let alone the game". I struggle with suicidal thoughts at the moment, but I'm determined to get better. So for self guided erp I've just been saying "yeah, sure, maybe I won't get better. Maybe I'll be at my worst, who cares. I'm still getting the game". It's scary in the moment. 😅. Anyone else have a similar fear? I'd love to hear it and talk about it if you'd like! I'm sure this is a popular obsession. :)

@Eljaeee Oh jeeze its november?? I dont even have a switch yet. I only buy the consoles for zelda games so since I had botw on wiiu I didnt get a switch

@catattak It's definitely worth it! It's expensive but gameplay is so much more exciting and you can do so much on it.

@Eljaeee I wasnt a huge fan of the first hyrule warriors game so I probably will wait until the botw sequel. I'm more into the puzzle and story of the franchise.

@catattak I understand, me as well. I'm just excited that Age of Calamity is canon and not just a spin off made by fans.

@Eljaeee Oh good point. That did interest me. I loved skyward sword (unpopular opinion) because of the story of the beginnings.

@Eljaeee Haha I love that! So many people hated that game but I loved that story! Once you got past the wiimote, it was a good game. I would replay it for sure

@catattak I haven't been able to play it, but I love watching gamers play it. Its such an amazing game!!! (And I think Zelda's haircut is the best in skyword word tbh). I've heard rumors of it coming to the switch in HD and tbh, that'd be convenient. If not, definitely stealing my brothers consoles to play whatever I want!

@Eljaeee Oddly it became really rare. Like people hated it, nintendo stopped making copies, then people started wanting.it? When my husband wanted a copy many years ago he had such trouble finding it and bought a copy cheap from a friend ut turns out it's pretty pricey on ebay and is really sought after so dont sell it!

@catattak Yeah what's up with that 😂? Everyone hated it until now. I think it's because new fans are wanting the experience and the opportunity to play it?

@Eljaeee It was also the last zelda game that wasnt massive. Like botw really jarred me. I didnt like it for the longest time because it wasnt classic zelda. Like the formula of learning and temples and having a sword that didjt break. That did bug me about botw and I'm sad the games will never be like that again since the success of open world in botw
