YES x100 It’s the most challenging thing. But we have to remember we’re not the only ones feeling this way.

I dont kmow what to do. It is making me feel worthless ans hopeless. I keep thinking how if I were in another country I probably wouldn't believe what I do and that scares me. I feel like my morals will change at any moment snd this makes it hard to look forward to anything because I feel bad :(

@anyonymous Same, it’s stressful especially today for me. I feel like I keep solidifying the fact that I’m not a good person that I’m going to let harm ocd run my life when that’s not the case 😩

@We Will Prevail Yes 😣 I keep thinking the same with harmful thoughts and other thoughts and I'm so afraid I will leave morality behind or think there are no morals. Its so stressful

Good to hear i am not alone!! I keep thinking of reasons why maybe I dont believe them or I am afraid I will rebel if I get angry or something. Its torture but I'm glad I'm not alone!

@anyonymous I have Harm OCD as well as the two of you and I'm afraid any moment I'm going to snap and hurt someone, even though I have never been violent or have any history. Like one day the thoughts are going to get to me and I'm going to lose my sanity. I can't even enjoy True Crime or Horror anymore. And, unfortunately, trying to reason with OCD is a losing battle and actually makes it worse. It also doesn't help that I live with someone I have past trauma with and still feel hurt towards.

@K-Dizzle That's rough. I feel the same way. I start to think maybe I dont agree with my morals anymore and then I feel bad. Its hard to talk about with people too (outside of this app) because they don't understand or may make it worse.

@anyonymous I have to think too though, two months ago (before I took an edible that triggered this disorder), I'm not sure I would have truly understood either. It is super complicated to understand. I would say for me it's like I know I still believe in my morals but my OCD makes me feel like even consuming a piece of media that is contrary to them is surely going to convert me for the worst. It sounds so silly typing it out but my OCD has my brain convinced it is a loose sponge that must be protected haha.

@K-Dizzle I get that. For me its like I believe it but then I'm like what if I dont? Or if I hear something contrary to my beliefs I'm like "why don't I believe that?" Will I? It makes me fear I will go crazy and start wanting to advocate for things I am against. Or that I will go against my beliefs or something :(

@We Will Prevail I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one! And being me I compulsively have been searching Google to find if this was an ocd thing and couldn't find good enough sources about it so I got more anxious fueling my ocd cycle :( in other words I need to stop googling things

@K-Dizzle Same here 😩 I used to watch those shows so often. I took criminal science classes I wanted to be a detective and then BAM OCD came. Now I can’t even hear anything about crime without questioning myself and worrying
