Your brain has simply fixated on a worry, and in order to ease the anxiety it brings up these thoughts cuz it’s looking for a solution. But sadly these sort of thoughts don’t have any solution because they are super unlikely events you never would want to do these things. So these thoughts are like a never ending loop

@Anna:) Let the thoughts run in your head, they are not evil and you are not evil or creepy for them. Try to carry on with your day and do anything you would normally do as the thoughts run, like they’re a movie in the background. They are not you

@Anna:) Just observe it like it’s a fly on your hand. Just observe and wait for the compulsion to go. It may be scary at first but you’ll see that none of these compulsions can make you do anything. The reason you have these is that your brain is trying to “test” whether you truly want to harm people, but this is something you don’t want to do since you’re so stressed and scared

@Norf I also don’t know if maybe my hormones CD is also coming back because of stress from school work I am getting a ton of schoolwork and like a week or two before my period my anxiety and stuff gets worse. I thought maybe it could’ve gone worse because I got drunk last Friday but I also had a horrible city thoughts prior to it but not as bad.

Keep your head up these are scary thoughts to have while you’re young but just keep your head up and be kind to yourself

@Norf Also it’s not just thoughts and feelings like in general I don’t feel like myself like my head just feels pressure and like I can’t focus on anything really

I have harm ocd too. My harm is sprinkling water on the floor to make my spouse slip and die. It’s horrible.

I am just glad that I’m not alone in this and that we’re in this together sometimes I feel alone and I feel scared to tell people this because I don’t wanna seem like I’m crazy

Mine kind of started Back up like last week but it was like in the middle of the night I would wake up at like five or six in the morning have a panic attack and have these creepy thoughts in my head. And then I got drunk for my boyfriends birthday on Friday then my stomach just hurt for two days and then Monday night the thought started coming in my head and then since then they just haven’t left in my head just feels kind a like funny and I just feel like not like myself because I’m like what the heck why am I thinking like this this isnt me

I think right now the lack of safety and all you’re unsure ness you’re feeling right now, and that’s being sent into these ocd scenarios

@Anna:) You have a lot of anxiety about your current college and that anxiety ended up manifesting in the form of ocd about this other situation. It’s a thing I noticed about my own ocd development and a friend’s too

@Anna:) So for me physical exercise helps, and I suggest maybe taking melatonin or any sleep aides if ur missing out on that. Box breathe or vagus breathing are too potent methods when it comes to breathing work, it’ll help you train emptying your head and it’ll lower your stress

As you say you’re scared, recognize that these are your intrusive thoughts, likely you are scared of harming someone and now you are so scared that your brain is flooding with thoughts of doing it. Just let the thoughts come you aren’t bad for them and you’re not a danger to anyone for just having thoughts
