Listen to me please! You are having spike after spike after spike. I see your name pop up all the time and you are panicking. When you panic you make things worse. Look back into your past. I have seen you (so called) used to like women. You DO NOT stop liking women . You were born with your sexual preference and it does not change. You have been triggered by something and do not quite understand what it means. The ocd side of it is what’s making you feel out of control. Do you like cars? Do you like houses? Do you like the look of a Lamborghini? Do you like the look of a mansion? Yes you do. It’s the same part of the brain that makes you like the look of a man. However this does NOT mean you are attracted to men. You are fighting it and making it worse. Take a deep breath and accept it. It WILL fade. Your sexual attraction towards females WILL return. STOP STOP STOP looking for reassurance. It is making you worse. Be brave take a moment out and spend 1 day not caring about anything. Then go find the correct mental health professional and they will help you. At the end (and it will take time) you wil come out of this and not come Out of the closet. You are no different to anyone else going through the same thing but your ocd is making you think you’re lying to yourself. Please get a grip. If you were gay you wouldn’t be panicking. NO NO NO more reassurance

Every word. But your still seeking reassurance 🤪 STOP IT. Ocd stories podcast. Listen to them all and you’ll relate to some parts. This will give you the confidence to see a therapist. And listen mate. After all my help and going through what you have. I still love women. Ask yourself what are you more afraid of? Being Gay or not liking women anymore?

Yes there you go. Either answer would still have gave me the conclusion you had ocd but this shows me how much you like women. Ocd is funny. We panic and fear the things that are totally the opposite to who we are. If you had harm ocd and I said to you why do you worry so much about hurting someone? You would say because I don’t want to hurt anybody. If I was to say to you if you had the opportunity to push a big red button then the thoughts of thinking about men would just stop would you press it? If I was to say press a blue button and you would be ok with it being gayand you will stop liking women would you press it. You’d press the red. If you were gay you wouldn’t press the button that would stop you liking what you liked.

oh and some men are attractive. I can see that and I appreciate that but I do not want to lay with one. I once thought about it but after treatment I basically sweat it out.

Exposed myself to it. Stopped being afraid and confronted it. Fears go away when you confront them. And you my friend are afraid. I was also it’s normal to fear things that we aren’t

ERP exposure response therapy. Exposing yourself to your fears. Sweating it out basically. It’s hard. It’s very hard In fact but very rewarding. It takes time. But don’t waste anymore of your life over this

Unfortunately it may need 2years (but worth it) and you need ERP. You need to change therapy. This is what NOCD is all about. Finding the correct therapy

Mate you are seeking reassurance and it’s making you worse. I can’t explain to you how much me reassuring you is making you worse. Seeking reassurance are your compulsions. You need to face this head on. You need to seek the correct help. Professionals will help you. You will have the future you want .
