This sounds very very familiar to me. OCD has the ability to make you doubt literally everything. Trust me I get it. Are you in therapy?

I am, tonight is my third session, but I keep failing at my homework. This past week’s homework was to not do any compulsions once a day. I did it the first day, because the intrusive thought was a Harm OCD thought and I usually do not doubt that that’s OCD and I can clearly identify when I have a Harm OCD thought. With my current “big” obsessions, I can’t identify an intrusive thought because it feels like I’m always thinking about it and I’m always thinking what if it’s not ocd. I guess my ultimate obsession is “what if this isn’t OCD and I’m in denial?” and even though I know that’s very common for all people who suffer from OCD, I can’t convince myself or stay convinced that my fears are OCD. And then I’ll identify compulsions, but then I start doubting that they’re compulsions. I just don’t know how my therapist can help me when I’m so confused.
