My therapist advised me to download an app and to aim for at least 3- 5 minutes guided meditation a day. There is one on iPhone called Aura(pay). Then mindfulness on Android (free). Probably can find others

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWmivIrzO4E I do this everyday 2 times and it’s helped me out so much. I also recommend spending more time in nature and if you can add a guided meditation a day you’ll get even more benefits from it :-) wish you the best

Zen has always been something that I turn to when I am looking for a “spiritual” practice. It can be a difficult concept to contend with but I think that is, in large part, because of the same thought processes that are problematic in OCD. To me zen feels like the antithesis of my OCD. I would recommend the book “Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind”, if you’re interested. Also, yoga can be a great practice to start with. There are a lot of free resources on YouTube.

Honestly if you listen to some mindfulness mediation videos on YouTube that helps. It’s prett explanatory on what to do. I listen to it when I have trouble sleeping
