Yes, that’s the anxiety portion. I’m struggling significantly with everything you’ve just described. I wake up and feel horribly anxious and paranoid and can’t figure out why so then I grab on to stupid irrational thoughts to blame the anxiety on and I freak myself out even more. Very viscous cycle. I wish I knew how to break it, but I can tell you you’re not alone in what you’re feeling.

@Emeto-Dez I personally don’t, but I know someone who had it very bad and overcame it. I do however have lots of other phobias so I know what it’s like to be frustrated by something that seems so irrational, but is terrifying to you.

One of my irrational rituals is that I shower for hours when I think I might vomit. It's like part of me knows it has nothing to do with my chances of actually vomiting but it's continuously worked so I can't shake the feeling. Im working on not showering as often though 😖
