hey everything you wrote here i completely understand. it’s actually startling.. i feel like i could’ve written this. sometimes sounds bother me so much that it’s almost physically painful. & i become relieved if i feel a conversation went “successful.” been trying to figure out what this is as well. i find that the sounds & wanting to be in control happens the most when there’s a part of myself i’m not tending to - like i’m not getting enough alone time or i need recharging in an area of my soul. if that makes sense. you’re not alone in feeling like this - good luck 🤍

@zeep honestly everything here is to a t.. this is a personal question, so don’t feel like u have to answer - but were u brought up in a household where u had little control ? or like you would get in trouble for some of the things that irritate u now ?

@nina i don’t know? ik that sounds like a cop out but i can’t remember, but i don’t think so. recently my mom has been trying to validate me more because she knows that i need that. it’s just kinda how i am. i wish i could be more helpful:/

Hi I’m autistic and it is a common comorbidity with ocd! Also autism in girls presents very differently in women so I would see a specialist who understands autism in women (assuming you identify as female).

It wasn’t until 2016 they found how much different it is in men than women
