@Anja82 Hi, Anja! It,s Lilica! Happy 2021!!! I told that I woul share my experience of my ocd's treatment. I,ve alread been in cognitive behavioral therapy. Yesterday I wrote about meditation and breathing, and how these resources helps me feel better. How are you? Is everything all right? I hope so. When it's possible, tell me news about you!

@Lilica Hello Lilica! Oh wow, that sounds great! I have my first therapy session next week!! 🙏🏻 Right now I am feeling very bad. My harm OCD is terrible. I haven't had any therapy yet. Yes, I have also wrote about meditation and stuff like this. That should help very well. Have you already done meditation? May I ask what OCD type you have? Happy 2021!! ❤️❤️❤️

@Anja82 Oh, I'm very happy that you are going to start therapy. I think it's a great resource to give us life quality. The therapist knows exactly the techniques that fit to each one specific problems. In my case, my thoughts consists in worries about people who I love, my family, for example. And then to make them less disturbing I have the compulsive behavior, like whashing hands, or checking thinhgs, or perfectionism. But I think I am a few better now, and meditation is a nice tool to help us. There are some cool videos on youtube about guide meditation and it doesn't take so longer. Just about 10 minutes a day can make difference. Well, to try to make you feel a little bit better right now, I'd like to say that any disturbing thouht is just a thought. It's not real. People who suffer from ocd stills have critical sense. We can make difference between what's real from what's unreal. Remember that none of these thoughts is your real desire. It just makes us suffer. So, I hope you feel better and have a good night! Be sure that you are going to make progress in therapy. And, if I can help, please let me Know! God bless you! @Lilica Dear Lilica!! Thank you so much for your words! Yes, I have already noticed many good videos about meditation on you tube too. Yes exactly, that's the thing, the thought always feels so real even though you feel the exact opposite yourself, that's the nasty thing about this disease. I really hope that therapy will help me.
