Open world games are really good and help with ocd, like Cyberpunk 2077, Assassins Creed Odissey, Death Stranding, Forza Horizon 4, Mafia. There is also the streamers, they help a lot too.

Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley are very relaxing. Death Stranding has periods through the game that are very relaxing. No Man's Sky is also very relaxing.

@BigGip09 Hi I do :) how are things?

@Scoggy Hello! Things are going pretty well. Rumination is still a little tough to beat but I'm getting through day by day. I thought about all of the encouraging words you've given me. There's a lot of people that have made me feel better about myself. Ever since you mentioned grey areas to me, that's all I was able to think about whenever I caught myself ruminating. I just wanted to say thank you. You've really helped me with the things I've told you. I began telling people what I was worried about compulsively. But you helped me so much that day/night. I just wanted to let you know that you've left a pretty strong impact on me that day and it still feels strongly now. :)

@BigGip09 Oh I'm so glad to hear that! ❤️ None of us are perfect at resisting rumination, least of all me, hopefully you can discover another grey area with self compassion that maybe you don't have to beat compulsions perfectly every day, either :) consistency is enough, and consistency gets easier the kinder you are to yourself about being just as imperfect as everyone else! It's never a disaster to have a dip, so long as we get back to what works then we're going in the right direction! Remember you deserve to exist and have mental health and make the best of your life, just as much as anyone else. You don't need to always be or have been perfect to be valuable- nobody is! And where you feel you deserve judgment, keep looking for the grey areas and the understanding you'd find it reasonable to give to anyone else. :)

@Scoggy This put a big bright smile on my face. Seriously, you're one of the best things I've ever gotten out of this app along with many other friends that I have been able to relate to and understand! Understanding that things can't be perfect including me, you, nature, and everything that exists pretty much really helps me when I feel that I forgot or dive too deep into rumination. It really helps me to be more compassionate about myself and disregard intrusive thoughts that come up. I've watched a real event OCD video and it talked about grey areas which OCD loves to forget exists. And it strongly reminded me of you because you've shown me that my real events did have grey areas and it wasn't that bad! I'm just so happy that I can tell you all of these things that I feel and I'm even happier that it makes me feel more accepting, wanted, and deserving to be happy. You're the best, Scoggy. There's no way anyone else can prove you otherwise!
