If humans didn't eat meat we wouldn't be here. It's one of the big reasons our brains evolved into what we are today. You aren't evil for eating meat, you're a survivor.

Very well said by squidd. I think you and me garden have some pretty similar themes. At the very core, under all these topics and categories of intrusive thoughts, it's my fear of not being a good person or morally right/good enough person.

Its a text only service, confidential and 24/7. You will be connected with someone to talk with you if you are struggling. Text 'SHOUT' to 85258 OCD Challenge - https://www.ocdchallenge.com/ Is a free course online workbook that you can actually start ERP by yourself. You can always check it out and see if this is something you feel would help for you at the moment. Kimberly Quinlan Toolkit https://youtube.com/channel/UCMGMsxHVAfuveLsah_EmBRg I started with her shorter ones, 10 minutes or so. She is a specialist in OCD and her podcasts are extremely helpful 😊👍. I just try to do one every 2 weeks or something! Aaand the new brilliant news that NOCD will be available for people in the UK February 2021 😊so that's always an option if you would like to start with them! Of course there are tonnes of brilliant self help books, podcasts and therapists. It's all whatever fits to your independent recovery journey!

@garden And don't let the group calls put you off =) you can literally join and just listen the whole time and don't have to share. But I think you will be amazed to hear of what other people deal with and I've heard so many people say this has helped them so much while they are not in a form of therapy. 😊
