I think you are very brave to even attempt such a film. I’m remembering a Movie with Jack Nicholson in As Good as it gets which was a Comedy and I don’t think that’s what you want to convey? You are probably going to want to avoid the pitfalls of a production like the Controversial Film from Netflix ( Cuties) that has gotten quite a few people in a lot of Hot Water! I think because of the times we live in and the Cancel Culture that you should avoid at all cost being overly graphic. There are many wonderful independent films and when your Film is produced I would really like to see it. Good Luck to you🌵

Yes exactly, I’ve watched many films that touch on ocd and I’d like to put something more raw and different out there. Thank you so much

Ditto on the brave front. I work in Hollywood and can tell you that would be a hard sell. Not to discourage you, but make sure to soften the edges as much as it's still true to you. That being said, brave, strong new commentaries of mental health are on the rise, so make sure you are encapsulating the experience of OCD without saying "every person with OCD has these thoughts." Personal battles are conveyed better I think than implying you speak for all with mental illness. Best of luck to you! Change the world!!
