Give him some space. Don’t keep calling and texting as much as you want to. It will be much better to let him breath and think and he will text you when he’s ready. That doesn’t mean it’s all over

@Caree If he’s pushed away by your mental health then it’s 1. A lesson for you to manage and work on yourself more so it doesn’t effect those around you 2. He wasn’t the one then. Believe me I’ve been struggling with this since November and it’s the hardest thing I know but i didn’t realize until it was too late how much I was ruining and damaging him by not fixing and working on myself

If he loves you truly he won’t leave he should understand you and yes ocd sabotages relationships only the strongest can survive anws focus on yourself for now you already have enough stress and worry to deal with and we’re always here for you ( i actually broke with my boyfriend yesterday because of ocd so I totally understand you) stay strong and never give up❤️

@harpreet But there’s a chance he has decided to and I won’t even know. He usually texts me and he hasn’t at all. We almost broke up like 3 times this past month because of my confessing compulsions. I’m afraid this was the final straw. My biggest fear is losing him.

@Caree fight the compulsions . i’m not sure what your theme is , but your boyfriend i understand that it can be hard but the right one will stay trust me . through thick and thin

@LifeIsBeautiful Thank you. My theme is real event/ROCD/perfectionism OCD. My compulsions have been heavy on confessing/ruminating/mental reviewing etc.

@Caree Yes I understand. Its very unsettling feeling right now. You know what I’m kind of going through the same. I just angrily spoke to my girlfriend tonight and she switched off her cell. When my OCD kicked in I wanted to reach her but couldn’t. And it was very unsettling, worrying and frustrating all at the same time. It’s like a cocktail of emotions. PS its like 4am here

Hi - I hope you’re feeling a bit calmer now. It sounds silly but worrying about it isn’t going to change anything. Us ROCD love to go round in circles with our minds and ruminate, but that isn’t going to increase or decrease the chances of him texting back. And just remember, no matter what happens, even though it may not seem like it now, you will be ok NO MATTER WHAT 😌
