Showers everyday. Going out for walks. Doing things that you don't want to do. Find a reason to fight for

My therapist says do the opposite of what the depression says. If depression says don’t shower, shower. If it says stay in bed, get out of bed

getting outside helps a lot, whether it's for a run or walk or even just sitting outside and enjoying the weather. not isolating yourself, if you're able to (bc covid) maybe hang out with a few friends. if you're not able to then maybe call some friends or family. watch shows or movies you like that make you happy. saying positive affirmations

Check your diet, make sure you’re eating Whole Foods. (Not a cure but a start!) get dressed in the morning, write down a list of what you’re grateful for (I used to hate when people told me to do this but it can help!) go to the beach, walk in a park, something relaxing you slightly enjoy, and CRY don’t hold it in

Wellbutrin did wonders for me after a few rough adjustment weeks. I also have this concept of the 5-7 day? Where the happiest you can be is 10, and but doing those 8, 9, 10 activities while depressed can bring you to a 3? So I just treat myself like a creature who needs comfort and sunshine and food and rest and live comfortably in the 5-7 while it feels right :)

talking and going out with people is REALLY helpful EVEN when you don't want to. I forced myself to do that and yeah I didn't always feel good but after a walk or sometimes by the end of it I felt better

I know this is a little controversial but consider looking into microdosing psylocibin. It’s working wonders for me.

Thanks really feeling sorry for myself atm, not suicidal but I don’t really want to be here if you get me, even washing seems like a hassle which sounds disgusting now that I’ve wrote it lol

You aren’t alone! I had an awful depressive episode at the beginning of the year and it really does feel like it is never going to end, but I promise you it does! I am a huge believer in using every tool you have so medication + more frequent CBT helped, and getting outside even just to sit in the sun works wonders!
