Same thing. With my ROCD, when I have been finnaly happy and feeling love, my ROCD was like 'Oh? You feel love? Or maybe you are pretending? Maybe you made yourself feel it? Maybe you have been just pretending all along?'

I’m always questioning wether or not I am faking my feelings. But there has been something that has happened for a very long time, and it has bothered me a lot but I’ve learned to ignore it. But now that I am going to make an effort to be better, I feel like I have to have the answer to it. Because now I’m worried that it means my thoughts are true but it is something that is really specific. So it is pretty difficult to see wether it is ocd or not. I feel like if I don’t get the answer, I will never get better yk:/

@Jbgys543 It's OCD trying to seek certainty. Fight it. I always have this urge to check my memories for how I felt before. Always. Though I have already reviewed it a lot. We don't know the truth because OCD distorts our perception on those things. Things we did or said. It can be used only as a proof for OCD

@Daria Alexandrovna True. I just feel like what I am worried about is something only I have gone through. I’ve made posts about it and no one responds so I’m scared it means my thoughts are true yk :/

@Jbgys543 No it doesn't its your OCD trying to find a way to convince you and you know it, though it feels really true, I know... I feel the same

@Daria Alexandrovna Thank you! Honestly my ocd tries to convince me my thoughts are true using anything it can, and I hate it.

@Jbgys543 We are all strong. Mental superheroes. It takes a ton of strength to keep going but we gotta keep going.

@Daria Alexandrovna Fr, I hate exposures and everything, but sadly it is the only way we can get better

@Jbgys543 I got a lot better by doing things that are considered CBT I think

@Jbgys543 Exposures suck and I never thought I could do them but little by little I kept at them and the ones I do now only rarely trigger me. Hell, I get triggered by my thoughts more than my exposures.

@Jbgys543 Cognitive Behaviorally Therapy Google that. It's basically learning about OCD and converting bad thoughts into positive one's in your head, rational one's. And other thufns, I am not sure

@Jbgys543 I just got to know that CBT includes ERP and ERP is really needed to get better so I will consider reading books on it. There are many PDF free books online
