Mind if I ask what’s on your mind. Maybe I can give some insightful opinions. I’m doing decent. Actually been pretty okay for the past idk 6 hours. Feels cool. I got a lot of stuff on my mind tho, I’m gonna have to jump one of my buddys soon tho so I’ve been thinking about that a lot

👋 I'm not too great. My ocd is okay for weeks or a month but then it spirals out of control again. I guess because all the stress? It really sucks. Hope you are doing better.

Why do you have to jump one of your friends? There's loads on my mind. That's the problem. It's like I can never turn my brain off. Stressing about the future (midterms and assignments) stressing about the now (being a good parent) sad about the past (bad decisions)..

Oh and I'm currently having lower back pains and stuff. Which is new for me. It really sucks and makes me anxious which makes it hurt worse!

Damn well if I can say anything about the parenthood deal, it doesn’t matter what you provide so much, where you live or whatever, as much as it matters to be emotionally supportive. That’s the most important thing in my opinion. I don’t know too much about parenting but I wish my parents specifically my dad stressed that more. And he’s just been talking shit and called me a pussy like 5 times when he was drunk the other night. Had enough of it. But with the kid term thing maybe that will push you to study more

That is awful for your dad to call you that... Yeah that is definitely something I strive to be - emotionally supportive- always. My parents weren't very - well they were 80s/90s parents lol. So yeah, they kind of didn't get emotional support or investment which is so important for development in children.

Something like the more anxious you get about it the worse it is for you to think about which leads to your brain dropping it type of thing? Because that’s happened to me before

Nah nah nah nah nah. I’m just saying in the past, like when I was in middle school . I’d not even know what was happening and think about an obsession for sooooo long than one day my brain would just get so sick of thinking about it. That’s was my only was of “coping” if you wanna call it that-suffering

I don’t think if you intentionally create anxiety it will be any good. Unless it’s with ERP
