Hi there! I find this so interesting what you said because all day I had very little visuals and not too many thoughts but I had a sickening feeling in my stomach like I was going to throw up, my chest really hurt and my insides felt like they were sort of closing in on me and up around my jaw line in particular was getting very uncomfortablly tight like no escape and super anxious. It was a very uncomfortable feeling as if it was fighte Or flight but I wasn’t really thinking about anything or seeing anything it was just the feeling! What do you think, is this progress working really hard not to go into a thought but the discomfort lingers on and on from not going into it. I’m glad you are doing well Despite the feelings! We have to fight and push 💕🌷

thank you so much! honestly i think it’s just the way you handle it and how you cope with it as well! i try not to think about it too much but when it does occur i just let it linger because testing it can be even more triggering! try to fight the thoughts in your head & don’t question or think you need any reassurance cause that makes it worse! reading everyone else’s ocd stories truly helped me understand and get through my days. we’re not alone & we can overcome this, we just need to stay strong! you can fight these intrusive thoughts even if your mind tells you that you can’t! i know it can get frustrating too because it makes you believe that you are that thought and will act upon it, but honestly it’s a face your fears kind of thing. you just have to know that your thoughts are you & only you know what you’re capable of. it is quite uncomfortable but it’ll all work out slowly! trust the process & if it helps pray to God about it! i feel a little more free now that i’ve really talked to people and let it out & left it to be! you can and you will get through this! keep going <33.

Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate the encouragement, struggling so bad with it, but you are really refreshing to hear! Keep up the great work. I also find so helpful to read others stories. I wish there was a meeting like AA for OCD. I’m in AA and always share about OCD but people don’t really seem to get it!🙃🙏🏻

yes of course! i just fight my thoughts even if it really gets to me, i just have to know that it isn’t me! there’s a community group i believe, when you scroll it should say something like that and you could sign up! i signed up for next saturday, may 8th @ 10:00am! i hope you find it and find the courage to join! i’ll be there! and hopefully i find you there! you’re doing amazing just know that! we’re in this together!

of course! i’m walking outside and probably going to draw and paint something as a coping mechanism! find something to keep your productive! close your eyes and take deep breathes if you have to! <3 i hope to see you there!
