Lot of people are struggling and hope this is temporary for you but at the same time you should calmly try to explain him that without jobs and money it will be tough

I've had similar experiences. I always felt like I was the one working my a-- off, making money and working hard to save while my boyfriend barely worked. He always ends up needing a great sum of money for something that I have to provide. Saving has gone 👇👇👇 for me. It's terrible. I am also the only one in school going for higher education. I told him, I'm not going to be the sole provider. It should be equal. We should both put the same in together. He started to straighten up a little bit. But I get that mentality and it is frustrating. I definitely feel for you.

Yeah I'm in nursing school so I can only work about 30 hours during the school year. But I work really hard around the house to make up for it. He has been doing some housework, but not like he should considering he isn't working

@futurenurse2024 Yup I had the same thing. I was taking classes, and working full time. I was the one always cleaning and cooking every meal. I don't mind doing these things but there has got to be some back and forth. It can't be all one sided. I would definitely have a convo with him to let him know how you feel and give him some expectations

No one take anyone for granted ...I think talking about it to your partner and explain can help...but if one person is doing so much hard work and other is not then it's a big issue

Sounds like a bummer. Those men don't change and they're not adamantly looking for what they want.

Extremely unmotivated and will not try even when you're drowning? Ridiculous.
