Hello I’m wondering if my neighbor is grooming me or not. I know bold accusations but hear me out 1- He doesn’t like to talk to guys🧍 and only females🧍‍♀️ like he’s limited to one gender but he’s also a guy too which is like why don’t you like to talk to the same gender.... he treates girls different than guys. When I’m with my guy cousin he doesn’t say hi to him but says say to me cause I’m a girl. My mom says “Oh cause he’s closer to you and we have a closer relationship with him” umm sis 💀💅 I never wanted to be closer to him but my mom always bring him with us to go shopping that’s why he’s getting closer to us. Why can’t he be closer to another family then ours??? I know why....🥴 cause we don’t have a MALE figure in our house I don’t have a dad nor a brother. Remember I told you he doesn’t like to talk to guys... aren’t we just the best target 🎯 for him. Only girls... PERFECT FOR HIM to get closer to our family and my moms is like best friend with him so he can get as close to us as possible YAYYY so EXCITED 😆 love when weirdos are near us 2- He pays like a lot more attention to me than normal adults. Most adults that come to my house don’t greet me cause they’re here mostly for my mom. My neighbor like at the end of the convo with my mom always says hi to me at the most unnecessary time. Like I’m busy and doing my homework and I barely acknowledge him and he’s keeps trying to say hi. Like can’t you see I’m not interested in you💁‍♀️. Like it’s so weird even if my mom says “he’s being nice have some manners” like no even my moms friend who don’t say hi to me I feel way more comfortable. Do groomers pay more attention to kids it’s weird. 3- he pats my back sometimes when he’s about to leave our house idk why you fucker would be touching me. I imagine myself patting a little kid and I have no legit reason I could think of that I would pat a kid.

@Peridottttt That's really weird. I think you should talk to your mom more boldly about him. It's must be unpleasant and annoying if he's touching you inappropriately or against your wish. As you mentioned that he doesn't say anything to your male cousin but he always intends to talk to you, so i fell you are rightly concerned about his behavior. He may be wanting to build some kind of relationship with you. So you may avoid going out with him for shopping. I think you should strictly say him that you are not interested in him. No one can play with your liberty. So just be open minded and don't come into anyone's force.

@warrior12200 He stop patting me on the back anymore but my mom loves him so she’ll get mad if I tell her I don’t like him cause she’s like “he brings us food, fix the lights, if he’s gone who else will help us” cause he also helps other people in the apartment. Don’t you think it’s weird he always says hi to me? Most adults don’t pay that much attention to me.

@Peridottttt It's really weird if he always says hi to you considering the fact that he is not of your's age. He must be young adult and I think you may be teen. So i feel that you should try to ignore him as much as possible, just do not respond him, as he might realise that you are not interested in him. Just be brave.

@warrior12200 Here’s my theory: the only reason he is stepping back is when I was younger I accused him of being a perv for watching porn and my mom said your disgusting to him. And I think my accusation may have scared him off. And he does had some red flags with all the weird things he does so maybe he might be a danger. I caught my cousin watching porn and his sister was “ewwww” but he never takes a step back whenever there’s a women around even tho he watches porn just like the weirdo

My dad used to hate😡 him for always being around my mom and he was scared of my dad so that’s the only time he backs away when a male is around. But I don’t live with my dad anymore so he can get closer to us now there’s no male figure I’m out house. But just this morning I was crying to my mom telling her👩‍🦳😭 I was scared he’s a pedo and I don’t want him around. My mom listened to me cause I was crying and she said she’ll STOP 🛑 bringing him with us when we go to malls and stuff and he isn’t allowed to come into our house unless my mom needs him to fix lights and bring food. If only I told my mom early to stop bringing him with us everywhere but I was too scared and fear she will sided with him and be like “ohh he’s so nice let’s bring him”. A lot of weight has dropped now knowing changes will be made but it would be helpful if those changes were made earlier before it pushed me to the point of a burning hate passion for him. He’s has to go to my grandmas to give the food to her and then my grandma will come to my house and give it to me cause I feel safer with my grandma. My girl cousin also hates him and eats at my grandma now she’ll be seeing him more than me

I know I will raise my sons to be a good man and I know my husband is normal and not like that weird guy. Not a lot of good guys in the world and instead of teaching my daughters to don’t walk at night cover up ima teach my sons to treat a women properly because I don’t like how I was being touched at 11 I want my sons to be a voice to sexual assault

@warrior12200 Ps yesterday my neighbor was being loud so I went to her house and she got mad saying “I’m just walking what noise?” And my mom is more submissive and doesn’t like to confront problems so she told me not to say anything cause she is known to be scary in This apartment. But I’m not scare and if they’re a problem I’ll do something about it like the other situation. I told her “I dont know what noise it is but is loud while I’m doing my homework I don’t want a problem just try to be more quiet” I told her it was her bed squeaking or chair but she said there’s nothing. I got frustrated and my mom got mad at me for talking to her but if no ones gonna do anything I will. I understand sometimes your loud and it’s reason but it’s pushing me to the point I can’t focus on my finals, I can’t just ignore the noise like my mom does.

@Peridottttt Well I think that no one has right to disturb anyone by making any form of noise. I understand that it's affecting your concentration before your finals. But we have to see that the noise which is causing problems for you is made intentionally or not. So, does that noise come everyday or repeatedly?

@warrior12200 Yes I don’t think they know it’s loud cause they kept saying it was quiet and it’s frustrating I’ve let it slide so many times till it pushed me to this point
