Try not to compare yourself to others my friend. God made you for a reason. There is a purpose for your life. You will find your spark.
You have already dug your own grave. If you are truly looking for recovery, that negative self talk is low hanging fruit.
You're right. I just don't know how to speak nicely to myself when I feel like such a failure. I don't know. Most my teen years have been spent focused on ocd and anxiety issues and now they are better (still struggling but they have improved) I don't know how to even live life. :/
@Anyonomous I like School of Life videos on You Tube. See if they help. They cover a variety of topics.
I’m sorry to hear you speak about yourself so negatively. I’m 24 and my college experience has been shattered by OCD, and as a result I had to stay back 3 years! I still live with my mum, trying to get my last year of college done isolated at home. I always wish I was 20 again because of all the things I know I’d do different. Look up, You’re still very young and the possibilities are endless
I lived with my parents until I was 29, but let me tell you, it was a blessed 29 years of being close to them, not many are lucky to have that. Be grateful you are with your parents, you're only 20, you're soo young, life is scary when faced alone but you're never alone! You're not a lover, you don't have to listen nor follow anyone else's life plan. Take the time to love your parents and appreciate being with them, start a hobby, something you really like doin, eat whatever you like to eat, make a schedule for your day and have small goals, simple, but complete them, you say you don't know how to make friends, but look now you have three new friends!!! My name is Cesar and I would love to be your friend! What's your favorite color? Mine is green because nature is green and I love nature
You can always start with a part time job with limited hours before moving to a full time job. You’re not a loser, moving out and growing up is hard especially with ocd working against you. You will find your way don’t worry.
