@Ioana9 A few of your points differ based upon denomination. For instance, a lot of the head covering and no entering during period stuff only takes place in the Catholic faith. Iām a nondenominational Christian, and I never knew they still did a lot of this stuff. The actual Bible never says anything remotely close to having your head covered in church, and the whole bleeding thing was only before Christ, as the concept of being spiritually unclean based upon physical things was nixed by His sacrifice. And the physical aspect of it was a safety precaution, but now that we have modern day technology, thereās no need for that. And as for keeping women surpressesd, idk what church youāre going to but Jesus was actually revolutionary in His teachings to the ancient world (and in the time-transcendent nature of the messages of the Bible, today) to actually honor women equally to men. In fact my church has taught multiple sermons on honoring and valuing women. Might I recommend them? In addition to teaching their sermons in person, they post all of them on YouTube for anyone with access to the platform to see. Theyāre called Southland Christian Church. And also all that stuff about God not being as good as we thought and the evil one being more innocent, I donāt know where youāre getting that from.

@Ioana9 Well I wonāt say my home state, but letās just say Iām from the Bible Belt. But Iāve never heard of a Christian Church doing that... Southland is the kind of church where they take the Bible seriously, but at the same time, they donāt care if you show up in your pajamas. Or a skirt, sweatpants, muscle shirt, etc.; the preachers preach in a hoodie half the time. But they donāt do any of that stuff you talked about, I think you could benefit from looking them up sometime. Hereās the link:

@Ioana9 Ohh I see. Well in the United States, thatās not a thing Christians normally do. In fact Iāve never heard of that. Sure there are some people who need a bit of help, but the Biblical Christian faith says that honoring women is of utmost importance.

@Ioana9 Oh, no, Iām not irritated at all! And Iām not being sarcastic, either; tone is lost in text, sorry. I live for moments when I get to share with others what the actual teachings of Jesus say. You know I donāt put much stock in the religious āaesthetic,ā if you know what I mean. What Iām saying is that anyone can be a Christian, not just your stock society members with done-up hair. I once heard a preacher say that āGodās army will be made of people with Mohawks and nose ringsā and I agree with that sentiment wholeheartedly; Christianity is about whatās on the inside. Thatās why I love Southland so much. They speak āreally.ā I know I come off as some kind of a televangelist recommending this church, but believe you me, the reality and clarity and truth and equality and substance that these guys spoke with were essentially the things that brought me to Christ in the first place; they would be worth watching a few sermons from in your spare time in the very least. Also Iām sorry if I came off as irritated, itās just that time is lost in text I love these kinds of conversations! ;)

@When nothings sacred, thereās nothing to lose Might I also add, one of their staff members is a man with blue hair and black fingernails; not that that matters, thatās the point. Thatās this kind of church, but everyone is has on e thing in common. A real, genuine love for Jesus that spills out into real, genuine love for other people. The same kind of love that punk rocker showed your mom; he would be all more than welcome at this church, in fact, theyād be delighted to have him.
