Same! I was on Zoloft for 7 years and it worked great! It recently stopped working so I’m trying other meds now!

I tried two other SSRIs and an SNRI before I got on the tricyclic antidepressant Clomipramine which seems to be working better at a high dose now. I hate that I had to go through so much medication to get to this point though.

ME! Ive been on it for two months officially after a HORRIBLE test with Paxil (horrible mood swings) and it’s honestly been a game changer. It’s been so helpful for me!

I was on Zoloft for about 9 years (doing very well) when it suddenly stopped working for me and my OCD relapsed and became very severe again. I would definitely let your doctor know about those side effects. Your body might not like it so much anymore!

Since being an ocd suffer since 8-I have tried every ssri and every snri literally at this point lol same thing happened to me with Prozac was doing so well for 6 years stopped workinf the last year ocd relapse -tried Lexapro and Celexa did nothing for ocd -we figured to give Zoloft one more try isn’t it was a while ago-my psych had mentioned that he believes it’s my anxiety and not an actual side effect doing to 100mg tomorrow praying this all subsides.

I know meds are trial and error just getting soooo frustrated that nothing works or has worked for my like Prozac did a one point. Just hoping these symptoms subside I am at my wits end over it lol last resort going to go back Prozac as he thinks time away from it would re start? Lol who knows-just trying to see if my side effects other people have experienced?

Good luck to all of you guys and hope you find something that works for you. I'm 1.5 yrs out from ptsd caused by a ssri I took...I had a reaction and was denied medical treatment from the facility I was at. I don't take any meds now and just feel all this freaking anxiety when it comes. You are brave and you are strong! Best wishes. And it was an exposure for me just to read all of your experiences and type mine out. Hope it doesn't cause any distress. Keep moving forward.

I’m so sorry that happened to you! Medication is def. not for everyone and I know many people on here agree. Sorry if reading this was a trigger - I can related reading some others on here-hence why I don’t read any of them I changed my settings to only allow notifications from my NOCD therapist.

@Christina Yes, I had to work up to reading others posts and watching the nocd YouTube lives. But no, it's ok I chose to read it for my own exposure.
