Don't be alarmed, your whole personality isn't defined by one quick moment, I know it feels awful and all but the ocd is making you over think, it is your job to not engage in rumination nor compulsion, I know we shouldn't reassure each other but let's be human about it first, take a breath.......... calm down, you have ocd, this will most likely happen again but next time it happens be ready to instead of over analyze why you looked or why a growing or why anything just laugh it off and think wow that's a silly thought and move on with your day, you will feel anxiety because your brain is used to releasing the chemicals for anxiety when you're triggered but anxiety in and of itself doesn't mean you're what ocd says. Also really who is ocd to tell you what to do or think or even to tell you who you are? Ocd has as much power as you give it, so don't be afraid to stand up to it. And don't let ocd stand in the way of love, hug your niece play with her tell her how much you love her. Love always wins

You’re right thank you. I’m just scared it was on purpose and then it happened on accident so I’m a little shook up. I don’t want to be a monster

@Just Breathe ❤️ I understand that but look even if it's on purpose it doesn't mean you're a monster it just means you looked there. Right? I've looked many places some on purpose some by accident doesn't mean I'm gay doesn't mean I'm into kids doesn't mean I'm into dogs haha it means I just looked. There's a dog at my job he's a great Dane, huuuge dog so when he walks by you cannot help but look at his nuts haha they're unavoidable hahaha it doesn't say anything about me it just says I looked and saw something. Laugh at yourself sometimes, joy and love and happiness that's what ocd wants to keep you from, don't let it do that. Run towards Love!

@Anonymous Yea that happens when your brain is already perceiving something as a threat it's gonna look for everything related to it. Kinda like a horoscope, you read it and you go about your day looking for moments that match your horoscope, it doesn't mean it predicted the future it just means you read a story and subconsciously went about your day looking for it

@Anonymous Hi I'm sorry you're going through this I know how it feels, our themes are different but again the feeling is the same, uncertainty and fear and rumination and catastrophizing a scenario that is only in our heads. It most likely is ocd, it's the same patters as your pocd, it's the same cycle, an intrusive thoughts of feeling comes in, we worry about it, we try to make it go away and neutralize it, we worry more, anxiety elevates we freak out and start thinking non sense, what you need to do is avoid this cycle, cut it off right at the root, thought or feeling pops up you laugh at it see it as a silly thought a brain fat, and move on with your day, you will feel anxiety because your brain is used to that reaction but with time the brain learns that that thought or feeling isn't dangerous and stops releasing the anxiety, people with ocd have an amazing imagination, anything we imagine we can feel or think in detail, but we use such talents for ocd instead of actually productive things, your brain doesn't know the difference between real and fake it just sees or feels, think of watching a scary movie you know it's actors and make up but yet your brain gets scared, same with things we think of, right now I'm thinking of a hammer hitting my toe and it kinda made me shiver lol but there's no hammer there's no actual pain and I don't want to hit my toe, my friend, don't let ocd feed off your fear and compulsions, you are not your ocd you are the person that decides to stand up to ocd bravely because enough is enough! Run towards love, love always wins. God is with us and God loves you just the way you are. You're pregnant congratulations! That is something exciting and such a blessing. Do it for your baby, stand up to ocd refuse compulsions and disregard the thoughts and feelings, ride out the anxiety.
