This is officially the worst day I’ve had in years. I was having a bad day and in the way home from my family member with cancer’s house, we saw my cat dead on the road. Now my cat is dead AND my ocds acting up even worse.

I'm sorry to hear about your family member I will pray for them, my mom also has cancer and going through chemotherapy at the moment, it's our second time going through it but God willing she will be well again we have faith, never lose faith. God never abandons us. I'm sorry about your cat Snowy, I know how hard it is to lose a pet, be happy you gave it a happy life and as per your other question about if animals go to heaven, we don't know for sure but we know that God calls all its creation back to Him at some point so since cats or animals can't sin, we can lean more on the side that Snowy is with our Heavenly Father with the other persons baby, who I am also sorry for their loss. I know life is hard and ocd doesn't make it easy but life can also be extremely beautiful and exciting and ocd can never win against Love. Run towards Love always. God bless you both.
