@Artme Feel the same. I had a really hard time with my ocd last year and it has gotten a lot better with therapy it has gotten worse again with this. Hope to get back on track though. Compulsions are very draining

@Anyonomous Oh my gosh same :( July 2020 was SO BAD like can't eat, cant get out of bed, compulsions literally all day and I thought my life was done. It got better after therapy but I discontinued it due to finances. I thought i would be fine because my false memory theme finally went away Now its turned into memory hoarding ocd, gotta remember every single important event of every year. I found some random message from someone from 2016 and immediately started thinking oh my gosh they might have messaged me because I might have said something inappropriate or offensive.. contacted a bunch of people to verify that I didnt. Spent 7 hours doing this.. and im still not 100% sure of it. OCD is truly a nightmare

@Artme Oh I'm so sorry :( I know how brutal this is. Literally would never wish OCD on my worst enemy :( mine hit May last year I think even though I have had it since probably child age. Finally was able to get diagnosed November last year and worked through therapy and still am. Was thinking about quitting due to finances but I don't think I can know because i feel i am relapsing

@Anyonomous Its probably a good idea to tell the therapist that you have trouble with finances. They might reduce their fee temporarily, my therapist offered to do this or straight up treat me for free due to how severe it was but I told her no because I felt way too guilty to accept free treatment I think I had ocd when I was younger, I remember it being there for maybe 10 years, earlier than that.. my memory gets foggy I'm 25 now, you?

@Artme My therapist is on NOCD and I'm not sure if they reduce rates unfortunately but I have been going less often but wish I could go more. I remember doing OCD type things as a kid but I don't think it was that bad. I did things like make my mom check my heartbeat to make sure I wasn't dying and I would compulsively pray sometimes. It didn't really hit me as hard until about 15. I'm 20 now but honestly it feels like I have had it forever

@Anyonomous Im not sure if this is ocd or a child's creative mind going crazy but when I was 6 I was so scared that my mom is a body double and my "real mom" is tied up and hidden under our dining table Probably the first thing I remember that seems like ocd How's the nocd therapist? They good?

@Artme I had a similar thought!! I think it was OCD honestly. It was an intrusive thought I think. I remember my parents were outdoors in the car after just getting home and were just sitting in the car and I thought that they may be replacements and they may not be my real parents π And she is great! She left for maternity leave and I had a replacement for awhile who was good too but I am excited to get to see my regular one tomorrow! ERP is great for my ocd honestly. What kind of therapy are you doing?
