Why do I feel like I think of my intrusive thoughts on purpose?

Same thing happens to me

Just never had weird thoughts then all of a sudden they started and I’m almost 60

I do the same thing because I feel like if I try and think of them and check to see if it makes me anxious the easier off I’ll have it. Never works though so I just stopped trying lol

Same here it’s ridiculous but seems to come and go and can’t shake it..,

Never thought to hurt mysejf nor others, no clean thing, not sex… just stupid thoughts about anything can happen, or rhyming things, Msybe not ocd maybe just anxiety idk

Just weird sometimes I think my love for my family with the society today has tripped my brain lol, I just don’t know?

Any comments or inputs?
