I’ve heard they can be beneficial, esp in small doses

First question is are you taking them with anyone? It’s always good to have some by your side that is experienced with shrooms. Secondly, I would not recommend you take a high dosage for your first time as well as do not take them if you are in a bad time in your life. If you do take them in a time of uncertainty you more than likely will have a bad trip though since I do take them in a spiritual sense “bad trips” to me really take me back to what I yet you know about myself. As in trauma etc. If you do take a small amount it does make you feel so much joy and warmth all over and everything is quite louder, brighter, and beautiful!

I am taking them with a friend. I trust her and she’s taken them a lot before. We were gonna do a small hike. And what do you mean by bad place in your life? I feel like I am in a period of positivity and growth but I’m also hesitant with a lot of drugs (like weed) bc I’m slightly worried they’ll make me anxious. Is it possible to have a bad trip even if I microdose?

@Anonymous Perfect you’ll be just fine!!! For me I have a lot of unresolved trauma and when I take about 1/8th of mushrooms I freak out and have lots of visiuals and go through the trauma again and feel all the feelings etc. But with the amount you are taking you won’t have visuals just more of a body high and you’ll feel light. Just let your friend know you do not want to have the anxious feeling and she’ll know what your talking about when it comes to the dosage. That’s a perfect starting point though .5 grams or less

@cee333 Awesome thank you! Is it ok to still be a little nervous? It is a new experience. Or will nervousness trip me up

They can be helpful, but the issue is that we obsess over everything and trace things back. I personally wish i didnt do psychs, cus when i struggle with existential ocd or schizophrenia ocd, my mind always jumps to psychs as the cause now

Yeah I’m a bit worried about that but at the dose I’ll be taking I really doubt anything life changing will happen. Also I’ve been doing well with my ERP so I think I’ll be prepared

Can people please share their experiences on very low dose medications for their OCD? Maybe ones that have worked well with little side effects? Anything is helpful & thank you

I recently got diagnosed with OCD back in May of this year. What started it was a month prior, I took an SSRI which triggered an extremely intense couple of days due to panic attacks I’ve never had before. I’ve never had panic attacks but pretty intense anxiety. That’s when I started experiencing DPDR and hyper awareness. I’m good some days, but other days it’s so so hard. Especially because I have no one around me that understands. The DPDR and awareness of every feeling, thought, and just overall awareness of my existence gets really overwhelming. I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s really hard to sit with my thoughts especially when they’re on a constant loop of every little thing I’m thinking and doing and on top of that feeling like I’m in a dream. I desperately just want to go back to how I was 4 months ago, but I know that’s just not possible right now. If anyone has experienced this and is doing much better now or even currently experiencing this please let me know! I need someone to relate to lol
