I tell myself it's a spam thought
So I call it spam
I usually say “okay and?”. Then I picture my OCD being startled because I didn’t actually engage or acknowledge it as well as ignoring the compulsions. It’s replying with “Well…. Umm… and….idk”. :)
I tell myself that if I don’t suffer a bit by accepting the uncertainty right now, I’ll just keep the ocd going and suffer more later on. It helps me stick to ERP :)
Idk if it’s a mantra but it works for me hahah
