I’ve dealt with SO OCD. it still pops up sometimes but I’m not really bothered by it. to keep the cycle from continuing you have to say “maybe it’s true” and accept the uncertainty in the moment. Instead of pushing the thoughts away, avoid doing the compulsions instead. It’s definitely hard, much easier said than done. After a while once you become desensitized to the obsession everything feels much clearer :)
