Yes! Usually I wonder if it’s OCD just trying to get me into fight or flight because my body is so used to being there. And that eventually our brains will rewire and understand it’s safe to be happy.

Welcome to the back door spike of OCD! Likely this means that you’re doing GREAT because you’ve learned to disregard your thoughts. You might be bothered by the fact that your thoughts no longer bother you, and this is normal. It’s a quite common for people with OCD. Great job so far!

Yeah, its our underlying roots of shame and pain from the past. We sadly think we are not capable of love nor do we deserve it. But we do. We need to have mercy and compassion on ourselves. I love you. <3

Anyone else just have days where they feel more calm and don’t have as many intrusive thoughts? But then later at night time it just comes back so you only had relief even for a little bit 😞😞 I feel like even when I’m not having my OCD send me intrusive thoughts, I always have a feeling in my stomach that something is wrong/off or a sense of doom. I always just feel on edge and anxious as if my mind is always preparing itself for the next horrifying intrusive thought to torment me with ugh 🫠

Is this even a possibility? I'm not even sure if it's an OCD issue, GAD, or maybe a lack of something else, but I'm just constantly feeling off. Even if I'm not getting constant intrusive thoughts, I just feel on edge all the time? Is there anyone who's been able to overcome this? It bothers me so much 😭

One of my biggest struggles in overcome OCD is that in moment where I feel invincible and feel really good, my mind itches back at me telling me that it’s too good to be true and I need to feel back on edge. I call this my OCD homeostasis, and my mind just needs to revert back to this. How has everyone dealt with this effectively?
