I’m not sure who you are worried about over explaining yourself to, but if you’re talking about your therapist.. then I would just say don’t try to explain it in great detail, because I’m 95% sure they’ve come across what you are dealing with more then once. But I can understand right now you feel like you’re the only person going through (I felt the same way in the beginning).

Who thinks it is okay to just stay single because your mental health problens are too complicated? I just think about how much explaining I have to do and how many people I will have to explain it to before one person maybe understands.

Why why WHY do I feel the need to constantly overshare?! It’s making me feel guilty af! If my boyfriend tells me something in confidence but my ocd twists what’s said into some crazy big problem I feel the need to run to my mom for reassurance, it’s getting to the point where he doesn’t trust me not to talk about stuff and I don’t want him to feel like that obviously!! But it’s like I can’t stop! Does anyone else have that? How do you stop it?
