Yes, it can definitely do that as well. Ocd will do anything to make your fears feel real. But every time something like this happens, you can just take a deep breath and try to relax. Don’t try to fight thoughts, don’t try to fight feelings, and just let them exist. It feels like you’re giving in, but you’re actually just not fighting your ocd, therefore ignoring it. And when you ignore it, ocd starts to shrink and feel much less scary. You’re not alone in this! We understand your situation and are here for you! Never give up!
