We are constantly told by therapists to not be certain. So that point reminds us that when an obsession comes into our head we can simply say maybe or maybe not! And then we don't engage or give power to that thought.

@Crawfish oh ok right, like don’t engage with the intrusive thought just maybe-maybe not . I’ve found myself engaging with intrusive thoughts even after that , great help tysm ♥️

So maybe the title wasn't the best to to put it but when you guys start having obsessive thoughts how do you stop them before it turns into compulsions and anxiety?
