That I needed to get aggressive and tell the OCD to literally just STFU. Giving the OCD a name was also very helpful

Reading a post on the NOCD blog that described my issues pretty much exactly and spelled out how ERP could help. I was researching everything and struggling to find a good way to improve my situation, but didn't realize it was considered OCD. So reading that gave me a recipe for moving forward.
