Another one not really a peom but a short story I guess “There’s no child in me, that childhood should’ve birth. Whose responsibility to gift me my inner child? Teardrops of cries clump together to uniform a lie. Thought childhood was suppose to be a memberiable part but there’s no flesh in this hollow skull. What’s so special about a 9 letter word if it has no strings attach to it, I’ve become a soulless puppet jamming myself to your artificial show. Wish I can say I laid on the grass staring at the galaxy light but I spent my newborn years sleeping on hard ground floors just to survive the night. Playing dullessly on the wet slides, was my childhood life, who wants to pass on this filty time. That hero of mine has not arrive.....”

My collapsed lungs makes it asthmatic to inhale this life, Withdrawn breath from the moon I exhale a vast night, My sharp teeth sinking onto this dull night, Reality is the wrong bite, So why do I keep gasping for air in this wrong life?

@GummyDrop You are very talented! The first line I definitely feel and relate to. So many moments where I can't catch my breath...

@LeaLou Oh my so it’s not useless? My doubts run me over and sometimes out of frustration that’s it’s no use cause it’s just words I want to rip it out and trash it

@GummyDrop Heck no it's not useless! I was genuinely surprised by how much I liked it and related to it. It is definitely not trash whatsoever- you have a gift.

@GummyDrop I think the world is always is need of work like yours. Art, poetry, music....beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and you never know who you are going to touch and connect with your work. If poetry is your spark, fan that flame without a second thought. If all of the great musicians/artists/poets etc trashed their work because they thought it wasn't worthy of the world....our world would be rather dull <3 And TBH, I legitimately enjoyed your piece and find it wonderful. I'm getting back into drawing/painting (an old hobby), and it made me want to try and draw the mental picture and emotion it stirred up for me.
